Be part of a powerful alliance dedicated to climate action and justice across the Pacific. Connect, collaborate, and create impact with like-minded organisations committed to a sustainable future for our islands.

Becoming a PICAN member means joining a dynamic network of organisations committed to climate resilience, justice, and advocacy for the Pacific region. Membership is open exclusively to any not-for-profit organisations, including NGOs, community groups, educational or think-tank institutions, faith-based organisations and civil society organisations that share PICAN’s dedication to addressing the unique climate challenges facing Pacific Island communities.

 

To ensure all members align with the PICANs values and goals, interested organisations must meet our membership criteria and guidelines, which outline the responsibilities and principles upheld by PICAN members.

 

To apply, complete our straightforward online membership form. For your convenience, we also offer a downloadable version of the form, containing the same questions as the online application, allowing you to gather all necessary information before submitting.

As a member, your organisation will have the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded groups, influence climate policy, and engage in regional and international advocacy efforts.

The Pacific Islands Climate Action Network (PICAN) is a regional network of civil society organizations working on climate change issues in the Pacific Islands region.  

With four established national nodes and more than 190 member organisations throughout the region,  PICAN works to empower  Pacific Island communities and their leaders to be active players in the global climate change arena.
